What this site is
BoatSharp publishes consumer research and buying information about used boats. Using the site means accepting the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Information, not advice
Everything on BoatSharp is general information. It is not legal, surveying, mechanical, insurance, tax or financial advice, and no article creates a professional relationship of any kind.
Decisions about buying, valuing, financing or insuring a boat are yours. Before you commit money to a vessel, engage an accredited marine surveyor, complete a sea trial, and verify any registration, titling or ownership question with the applicable government authority.
Accuracy
We work from primary sources and label what we have not verified, but rules, fees, agency processes and product pricing change, sometimes without notice. We make no warranty that the content is current, complete or error-free, and we accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on it. Where a fact matters to your purchase, confirm it with the responsible agency or company.
